Well, today we are at the Chillocothee, Illinois Library. Cheyenne still does not feel good after her bout with the heat yesterday but we are making through the day. The events have been strange, but good. Each event has been on a different subject (Tornadoes, Lightning Science and Research, Earthquakes, Home Disaster Kits, etc) and the folks are coming to every event! That usually does not happen. Usually they will come to one or two, but these folks are staying all day!
Cheyenne made an observation I have to agree with about this town- the people here seem very intelligent and seem to really want to learn things. That is sometimes (unfortunately) rare. I think that this libary has made a good impression on the town- you can tell the people here read a lot and we have met a lot of folks that home school.
Well, with all that said, we have one more event we are going to do and then it is back to the motel so Cheyenne can get some rest.
